I Can't Release My Print Job at a Release Station. What Do I Do?

There are three main reasons you may not be able to release a job at a GreenPrint Release Station.

  1. First, you may not be authorized to use a particular Release Station. If this is the case, a message will be output to the Release Station clearly indicating you do not have permission to use the Release Station. If you are a Dartmouth student, you should never see this message. If you do, send electronic mail to help@dartmouth.edu and tell us the message you received.
  2. Second, you may not have enough funds available to print. This can happen if you have used up your $40 per term printing allocation and your DA$H discretionary account has reached a negative $100. If this is the case, you can make a payment against your DA$H deficit to reduce the outstanding negative balance to less than $100.
  3. Third, you may be using a password that is longer than eight characters in length. If this is the case, simply log in to the Release Station again, only using the first eight characters of your password.
