Adobe Acrobat Reader

Adobe Acrobat Reader is a freeware program that allows you to open files that were saved in a PDF format.

PDF is the acronym for Portable Document Format, which is a file format used for capturing fully formatted documents from almost any application, thus making them easily exchangeable and application independent.

You can download Adobe Acrobat Reader from the Adobe Web site.

If what you really need is to be able to create, edit, or manipulate PDF's , then you will want a copy of Adobe Acrobat Professional.

The newest version of Adobe Acrobat Professional is available from Computer Sales and Service; see Sales Information (Hardware and Software).
