Mac OS X Upgrades
The Mac OS X operating system is by default set to check for updates once a
week. When Software Update automatically prompts you,
you should install any updates that appear, as they often contain bug
fixes. To manually check for updates, select Software Update
from the Apple menu, then click Check Now.
Install any updates for which you are prompted.
