Tips for Downloading Software

  • You should download the file into a folder, not on your desktop.
  • Once downloaded, you may need to double-click the file to expand it, then use the expanded files to install the application. Other applications will automatically expand and create a folder for you that contains the installed application.
  • Some applications require a license number or serial number. In these cases, one of the files that is expanded from the original file you downloaded will contain the appropriate licensing information.
