Adobe Acrobat Reader

Adobe Acrobat Reader is a freeware program that allows you to open files that were saved in a PDF format.

PDF is the acronym for Portable Document Format, which is a file format used for capturing fully formatted documents from almost any application, thus making them easily exchangeable and application independent.

You can download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader from the Adobe Web site. It is recommended that you do not select any additional programs that may be offered during the download process.

If what you really need is to be able to create PDF files, the latest version of Microsoft Word allows you to do this. This application is available from Computer Sales and Service.
