The Manager of the IT Walk-in Center is a student who is hired each term to fill this position. It is someone who has worked in Computing Services for several terms and has shown that they are responsible, caring, hard working, and a quick learner. There is a group of fill-time consultants who back up this position. They are the IT Support Center staff and have various responsibilities for the Walk-in Center when the student manager is not present. Currently, these full-time consultants are Patricia Aldom, Warren Belding, Peter Fletcher, Kevin Grady, Stephen Johnson, David Numme, and Heather Varney. These consultants are all on the cg-stucons mailing lists. Sending an e-mail to this list is the best way to ensure a quick response.
If there is an emergency when the student manager is not present, call the IT Call Center at 646-2999 and a full-time consultant will answer.
