a database called the Dartmouth Name Directory (DND).
Your DND name and password are what identifies you on the Dartmouth network.
It is your electronic fingerprint. As a result of the permission this grants
you as a member of the Dartmouth community, it is critical you maintain the
security of your account by following the recommendations listed in the
remainder of this section.
