CREATE: Computing, Research, and Teaching

CREATE is a new site from Academic Computing highlighting the use of computing technologies to support research and teaching at Dartmouth.

Information technology generates excitement when we use it in ways that are innovative, helping us to do things we couldn't do before. The real story about academic computing is less about hardware and software, and more about what the creative ways that faculty, students, and researchers use it to accomplish the mission of the institution. With the CREATE Web site, Academic Computing shares some of the ways in which information technology is being used for teaching, learning, and research.

The Academic Computing division of Dartmouth’s Computing Services developed this Web site to share some of the more innovative uses of information technology in the academic area. Malcolm Brown, Director of Acacdemic Computing, is the overall coordinator for CREATE. Mike Murray, Associate Director of the Media Production Group, oversees the video production.
