Joe DoucetEllen Waite-Franzen, Vice President for Information Technology and CIO, has announced the appointment of Joseph (Joe) Doucet as the next Director of Administrative Computing beginning July 1, 2007. When asked about his appointment Doucet said, "I am really excited about working with Ellen and the rest of the leadership team to help move computing at Dartmouth forward in support of institutional objectives."

Doucet will bring over 20 years of experience in information technology and higher education, the last five years at the University of New Hampshire where he currently holds the position of the Director of the Enterprise Computing Group. Joe reports an affinity for higher education saying, "I enjoy being part of a culture dedicated to the education of the next generation of leaders."

In the near future, Joe and his wife Mary plan to relocate to the Upper Valley area where he can continue his enjoyment of golfing, quiet walks, cooking, spending time with his wife and four children, and cheering on the Red Sox.
