Program Overview

Securing the eCampus 2.0: Building a Culture of Information Security in An Academic Institution began the evening of Tuesday, October 9, with a networking event.

Wednesday, October 10, featured a full day of presentations. The morning sessions focused on the importance of engaging the various groups within the academic community. Presentation topics included information security and the "net" generation, the value of educating the educators, and balancing information security and the "open" campus.

Afternoon sessions further explored institutional challenges and practical solutions with discussions on regulatory developments, privacy issues, and approaches to building cross-campus collaboration.
