Holly Fell Sateia

For almost four decades Sateia dedicated herself to enhancing diversity and multicultural education at Dartmouth, most recently serving as the College's first vice president for Institutional Diversity and Equity.

IN HER OWN WORDS

On diversity at Dartmouth: "Together we can create the most inclusive environment for living, learning, and working."

IMPACT ON DARTMOUTH

An unshakeable commitment to community and inclusivity defined Sateia's 37 years of service to Dartmouth. From building a more diverse student body through the Admissions Office in the 1970s to her more recent work creating multicultural and educational programs, Sateia not only brought diversity to Dartmouth but also encouraged the community to foster it fully.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

"I have never met anyone more devoted and passionate about universalizing diversity and promoting welcoming and inclusive environments for all people." —Joe Cassidy, former director of the Collis Center and associate dean of student life
