A visit to the Dartmouth campus is the best way for you
to gain first-hand knowledge of the College, its faculty and students, and the
exciting range of opportunities that are available to undergraduates. The first
stop on your visit to Dartmouth should be the Admissions Office, located in McNutt Hall.
We suggest that you plan to spend as much time as your schedule will allow
in order to take advantage of the programs offered by the Admissions Office and
to allow time for exploring on your own. A well planned campus visit should
include time for:
- A group information session.
- A campus tour.
- Time to visit class or speak with a member of the faculty.
- Most importantly, time to spend talking with current undergraduates.

The summer preceding your senior year or the fall of your senior year are
the best times to visit the campus. Owing to the flexible nature of the
Dartmouth Plan, the College runs a full academic session each summer; students
who visit during the summer will be able to visit classes and to meet with
faculty and undergraduates.
Interviews are offered to prospective students once they become applicants.
Alumni representatives conduct the interviews in the applicant's
home area. Interviews are not available on-campus. For more
information, please see the Admissions
Interview section of our web site.
