TOEFL Test

Am I required to take the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) if my first language is one other than English? Is there a cut-off score?
If your first language is English you are not required to take the TOEFL. However, if you are fluent in several languages, you will not be penalized for taking the exam which may prove to be an additional indicator of your strengths and your ability to use English. The vast majority of students accepted score better than a 600 on the paper-based test or better than 250 on the computer-based test.
