Haiti Relief Efforts
Student leaders immediately mobilized the community, established Students at Dartmouth for Haiti Relief and raised nearly $200,000 in less than a month. Dartmouth also sent medical teams to Haiti to work with Partners in Health, co-founded by Dartmouth's President, Jim Yong Kim. Dartmouth has been a model for university efforts and the national media has praised Dartmouth students for their successful efforts.
