Dartmouth Bound: Summer Program
July 28-31
Each year, Dartmouth's Admissions Office selects a distinguished group of college-bound rising seniors from across the nation for an extended campus stay. Students are selected for Dartmouth Summer Bound based on a combination of their academic achievement, personal character, and potential for college success. The Dartmouth Summer Bound program provides opportunities for students to visit our campus and learn about life at the College, as well as our admissions and financial aid process.
Dartmouth Bound: Native American Community
October 13-16
The Native American Fly-In Program is an opportunity for some of the most promising and talented students in the country, who have a particular interest in the Native community and/or Native American Studies, to experience Dartmouth. Participants are selected on the basis of academic achievement and scholarship, personal character and accomplishment, potential for future excellence and leadership.
Dartmouth Bound: STEM Exploration
September 28-October 1
Dartmouth has so much to offer in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). This newly developed program allows students a small experience in hands-on work. The 2013 program will highlight the Thayer School of Engineering and, with the help of the Dartmouth Physics department, wll show how engineering and physics connect. Participants will be selected based on a combination of academic achievement, personal character, potential for academic excellence, and interest in STEM subjects.
Program Information:
For each program, students will visit classes, meet current undergraduates, interact with faculty and administrators, engage the Dartmouth community, attend workshops on the admissions and financial aid process, and increase their familiarity with Dartmouth's resources and the many opportunities for personal enrichment.
Through the generous financial support of several Dartmouth alumni, participants of each program receive complimentary round trip transportation.
