Teacher Evaluations
Applicants to Dartmouth are required to submit two Teacher Evaluations with their application.
We use the Teacher Evaluations to help us understand what you are like in the classroom or at the lab bench and to learn a little bit about your approach to learning. While it's fine to choose a teacher who may know you both in and out of the classroom, the real focus of a teacher evaluation should be on your intellectual engagement in class.
Many students with challenging course loads and "good grades" apply to Dartmouth; hearing about each applicant from their teachers is one way that the Admissions Committee can distinguish among many qualified applicants.
