Field Trips and X Hours

A field trip is taken each term. Past field trips include visits to the Alvar Aalto exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Carlo Scarpa exhibit at the Canadian Center for Architecture in Montreal, and to view a private Usonian House by Frank Lloyd Wright in Amherst, MA.

X-Hours are held each week. Videos are shown on the work of various architects including Steven Holl, I.M. Pei, Louis Kahn and Charles and Ray Eames. Films on architectural history, landscape and urban planning, building types, and design theory and process are also shown.
