WILLIAM F. MCNEIL is from North Attleboro, Massachusetts, and is a graduate of Northeastern University. He has been following the Boston Red Sox for over sixty years. Fifteen of his eighteen published books are on baseball, including The Dodgers Encyclopedia (2003).
