A landmark exhibition on the progress of the fine press movement during the twentieth century.

Catalogue of the exhibition held at The Grolier Club, held September 13-November 14, 1999. Includes two essays by the curators Jerry Kelly and Martin Hutner, followed by a catalogue of the 100 titles in the exhibition, from Verlaine’s Parallèlement (L’Imprimerie Nationale, 1900) to Divan-e-Shams (Vincent FitzGerald, 1996). Each item is illustrated. Designed by Jerry Kelly, and printed in an edition of 1000 copies at the Stinehour Press.
