Tucker Foundation Annual Appeal Update

The Tucker Foundation provides Dartmouth students with the knowledge and skills that they need to develop strong moral commitments to the welfare of others, as well as the leadership opportunities that will allow them to effectively contribute to society through the quality of their values and character. An investment in the Tucker Foundation is an investment in the future of human society: Dartmouth students are some of the brightest minds in the world, and at Tucker Foundation we are inspiring the minds and hearts that will lead us to a brighter tomorrow, and putting our ideals into action and making a difference in the lives of all those we touch. During this past year, the work of the Tucker Foundation led to Dartmouth being ranked No. 1 in Peace Corps recruitment, Dartmouth being listed in the Princeton Review College Guide of top Colleges with a Conscience, and Dartmouth students providing more than 40,000 hours of service. This year we have organized and led efforts to provide relief to disaster victims, partnered with other centers on campus to facilitate constructive dialogue and programming around the topic of religion and politics, and have begun a strategic planning process. Contributions from all of our Friends are vitally important as we pursue our mission of educating Dartmouth students to think and act as ethical leaders and responsible citizens in the global community through service, character development, and spiritual exploration. In our annual appeal letter this year, we set a fundraising goal of $200,000. To date we have raised approximately $39,500 (19.8% of our goal). If you have not yet made a gift to Tucker this year, please consider supporting us.
