What do you do if, at the end of a paragraph, you want to cite more than one source in your parenthetical reference? MLA style Simply list the references with a semi-colon between them. (Brown 78; Powell 132) APA style If the works you are using are by the same author, cite like this: (Westerhouse, 1993, 1998). If you are using works by different authors, cite like this: (Abraham, 1997; Vesey, 1996). Note that the authors are listed alphabetically. If you are referring not to the entire work, but to particular parts of the work, cite like this: (Cheek, 1993, p. 32; Molson, 1994, chap. 3). |
