Soo Sunny Park
![]() Assistant Professor of Studio Art Born in Seoul, Korea, Soo Sunny Park has received her B.F.A. in painting and sculpture from Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio and a M.F.A. in sculpture from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. After a residency in Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, ME (2000), she worked actively in St. Louis as an installation artist and a Lecturer at the Washington University in St. Louis, MO. In year 2001, she was awarded with the River Front Times “Best of 2001, Sculptor of St. Louis”. Park is a recipient of Joan Mitchell M. F. A. Grant, Grand Prize winner of 19th Annual Michigan Fine Arts Competition, Cité Internationale des Arts Studio Residency, Paris, France.
