Letterpress Rules
Equipment, materials, and instruction are provided free of charge to all members of the Dartmouth Community. In return we ask that you follow these basic rules:
- TIE UP your type at the end of the evening and store in the galley with a galley slip.
- ALWAYS fill out a galley slip with your name, font information, email, phone number, and the date.
- DISTRIBUTE (put away) your type within two weeks of completing a printing project.
- CLEAN your press. If you don't know how to clean it ask an instructor.
- DISPOSE of materials in a safe and proper manner.
- When in doubt - ASK!
