COMPUTATIONAL BIOLOGY RESEARCH:
Physiologists at Dartmouth investigate the dynamic character of heart rate variability and quantitatively model cardiorespiratory control mechanisms. They develop computer simulations of ion channel kinetics and use mathematical models to evaluate the dynamics of membrane receptors.
