- Heat oven to 450 degrees.
- Pour cream into a 9-inch ovenproof skillet, or divide it equally among 8 greased muffin cups.
- Carefully crack the eggs into the skillet or cups.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle evenly with cheese.
- Bake about 10 minutes, until eggs are set. If you prefer soft yolks, remove the eggs after 9 minutes; for firmer yolks, 11 minutes is sufficient.
