Housing Not Available for Draw

Affinity Program Housing

Affinity programs are residentially based, educationally purposeful living opportunities that center on a self-defined academic or special interest programmatic focus. Each program strives to provide a living-learning experience for residents that is unique in that resident students commit to a specified degree of involvement. Students apply to participate in these smaller, learning-based communities which can be housed in a section of a traditional residence hall or in a free-standing house.

Students who are interested in living in an affinity program unit must:

The program’s housing coordinator determines program eligibility and makes all housing assignments in the living unit. The names of approved applicants are then submitted to the Office of Residential Life for verification of D-plan, housing eligibility, and notification once the assignments have been finalized.

Any student with an approved affinity rider on file for the fall term will not be eligible to participate in Room Draw or any other fall housing process.

For more information about these programs, visit the Affinity Program web page.
