» Tomorrow is the big "Why War?" event that a lot of us have been working on for the past few weeks. More information is available on the calendar page, including a schedule of faculty teach-ins that are taking place tomorrow afternoon.

Also, the Greens have been in the news! The Spearhead/Judith Baca event we co-sponsored was a great success last night, and The Dartmouth ran an article on it today.

» Lot of events going on that should be of interest to Greens. Our big event so far is the Michael Franti & Spearhead/Judith Baca event, "What Does Democracy Look Like?" The concert/talk takes place on Wednesday, October 23. Michael Franti & Spearhead's website is www.spearheadvibrations.com, and information on Judith Baca is available here. There's more info about the event on the calendar page.

Other relevant non-Greens events: a group of students opposing a preemptive strike by the U.S. on Iraq is organizing a peace rally on campus for October 25. Two large peace protests organized by International ANSWER are also being planned in San Francisco and Washington D.C. for that weekend. Want more links and information on anti-war stuff, you say? Here's a bunch:

Peace.Protest.Net - Listings of anti-war protests around the world
ActNow - Weblog by The Nation to keep you up to date on activism
Not In Our Name - organizers of the October 6-7 protests
End the War - Naitonal Network to End the War Against Iraq
No Iraq Attack - An open letter from the academic community

Sites included on our links page are other great resources.
