A note on Adobe Acrobat:
Most tax forms and publications on the Internet are provided in Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF). These files require a "reader" for viewing. Adobe provides Acrobat Reader as a free download from the Internet for Windows, MacOS, and Linux. MacOS X provides native rendering of PDF files, although Acrobat Reader can also be installed. Dartmouth College provides Acrobat Reader in the Core Dartmouth Software directory on the Public fileserver.
