Program Director: Professor Andrew Garrod

An important component of the Department of Education is the training of new teachers at the elementary and secondary level. The Department of Education provides a program in teacher education that leads to State Certification in the State of New Hampshire. We offer certification in elementary education and in the secondary fields of Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, English, French, General Science, Mathematics, Physics, Social Studies and Spanish.

In addition, the opportunity exists to teach in the Marshall Islands for a quarter. See our Marshall Islands page.
