Earth Sciences Faculty
The Department of Earth Sciences at Dartmouth College has faculty with a variety of expertise. We have a number of faculty specializing in the broadly defined area of surficial processes, including low temperature geochemistry, stable and radiogenic isotopes, hydrology, geomorphology, soils, and climate. We also conduct active research in physical and chemical oceanography, geophysics, sedimentology and transport, and remote sensing. The interdisciplinary nature of earth science research is further supported through numerous active collaborations within the Department of Earth Sciences and elsewhere.
