Since its establishment in the spring of 1978, the DWRC has had a long tradition of excellence in New England. This legacy includes eight appearances in the U.S. National Tournament sweet sixteen, three Elite Eight finishes, and nine Ivy League titles. Dartmouth Women's Rugby has also toured every spring break since 1987, visiting clubs all over the world. With the completion of the Corey Ford Rugby Clubhouse and new pitches (Battle Field and Brophy Field) in 2005, Dartmouth Rugby is ready to host national events and touring sides.
Women's Rugby at Dartmouth is a club sport governed completely by its members. The DWRC, as a member of the New England Rugby Football League, competes intercollegiately at the D-1 level. With games during both the fall and spring terms, the DWRC fields both competitive and social sides at each match.
The DWRC has set a Spring 2008 Schedule, beginning with the Spring Tour 2008 which will be held from March 13th to March 23th in Dublin, Limerick and Galway City, Ireland. Check out our Results from our 2008 Tour of Ireland!
New players are always welcome at practices - no experience is necessary. If you are interested in coming out, blitz captains Emily Luscz '08 and Mallory McQueen '09.
