The Dean of the College administrative interns create opportunities for administrators and students to interact in both formal and informal settings. The interns work with the Dean of the College Office and student groups to develop collaborative projects. In addition, the interns will coordinate participation of the Dean of the College and other administrators in campus-wide events, as well as study breaks in Novack and senior thesis presentations. They also facilitate awareness among administrators about pertinent student issues and help make students aware of how the Dean's Office works.
Candidates should be creative, motivated, able to work independently and have previous experience developing events on campus.
The stipend for 2008-09 is $2,450 for three terms. Hours are negotiable with some evenings required for a total of 8 -10 hours per week. Preference is for candidates who are scheduled to be enrolled for fall, winter and spring terms.
