Lost Memories

Endless cycling skies
Golden sunshine
And arid winds
Stirring old memories

Another heat wave
In a deserted desert
Time passes on
and erases all escape

Wind-blown trees
With freedom hearts
Looking to the sky
And sighing together

Brown grass dying
like a cemetery carpet
Burying old friends
And new aquaintences

Hold to the lines
Which hold to your mind
'Til we can be together
To renew what was lost
