Belladonna

Self destruction in the early morning
Desire has left giving no warning
Contempt and hatred breed all around me
Death and dying are all that surround me

Give me a chance, let me see the sun rise
A misty dawn might bring me a surprise
Relay a message of forgotten joy
Deliver another heart to use as a toy

Peer out carefully from your darkened hideaway
Look out now, it'll strip your insides away
Now I see what its all been saying
I'd like to stay, but I'm all through playing

Deadened feelings, enhanced by moonlight
Crazy lunar shadows making the mood right
A selfish lover shares an uncaring kiss
No matter what, she can't give more than this

Despite these manouvers you still are not alone
As wedding bells ring through the danger zone
Soon the sweet chimes turn to cold death-knell
And another man's woman is the ringer of the bell
