Week Nine: Nov. 20
20 November. Today we headed to the great Basilica di San Pietro to hear Professor Bradley's lecture. Those who attended were in for a treat and we strained our greedy ears and intellects to catch every word. From Bernini's embrace of a Piazza, like the embracing arms of the Mother Church, to the glittering gold altar piece meant to resemble the clouds of Heaven itself, we indulged in a thorough examination of a brilliant structure.
