Daily Updates
Week Three: Oct. 11

11 October. Myung-Hee reporting: On our first of two free days before our second road trip, many of us seized the opportunity for really rewarding activities…like doing laundry. Adam, Ariel, Cordelia, Karen, Tori, and I headed to the Galleria Borghese only to find that the museum limits the number of visitors each day; we bought tickets for Sunday, then walked around the gardens there. We found a beautiful little lake beside a small temple and a statue of Ahmed Shawky. Sarah was more successful with her trip to the Museum of Napoleon, while Courtney met up with her Dartmouth friend from Copenhagen. Brian, Matt, and Katherine found time to read, and several of us even worked on our portraiture papers. Maya and Peter went for runs: Peter to the historic Circus Maximus (it’s hard not to find yourself in a historic part of Rome!).
