A Guide to Reference Materials on Toxic Substances provides useful guidance on doing a library search for pamphlets, journals, fact sheets, reports, books and computer data on toxic substances including toxic metals. Site includes a bibliography of materials on chemicals and toxicity. Produced by the New York State Department of Health.

Links to Websites on Toxic Metals is a list of sites that provide information on the metals included among the 22 pollutants identified by the federal government's Superfund cleanup efforts as those most hazardous to public health.Toxic metals are the second biggest class of priority hazardous chemicals; chlorinated compounds are the first. The site was produced by a Dartmouth Medical School graduate student in conjunction with a class, "Heavy Metals III: Epidemiology and Public Health."
