Susan Brison is the Eunice and Julian Cohen Professor for the Study of Ethics and Human Values and Professor of Philosophy at Dartmouth College. She has held visiting positions at Tufts University, New York University, and Princeton University, and has been a Mellon Fellow at New York University and an NEH-funded member of the Institute for Advanced Study (Princeton, NJ). She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in philosophy from the University of Toronto and a B.A. in philosophy from the University of California at Santa Cruz. In 2016-17, she was the Visiting Professor for Distinguished Teaching at the Princeton University Center for Human Values and, in 2018-19, she is a Visiting Professor of Philosophy at Princeton.
