Bridge Basics by Richard Pavlicek.  A good page for beginning players.  Moves a little slowly in my opinion but provides a thorough overview of the basics of bidding and play.  

Contract Bridge Beginning Course.  Michael's "Beginner's Bidding Guide" is a great reference.  Other introductory lessons are available on a rotating basis... keep checking back!

SAYC Notes.  From Bridge Forum International.

Standard American Yellow Card ('SAYC') Notes.  This booklet provides a thorough description of basic bidding sequences in SAYC.  Excellent as both a reference and as a system review.  As SAYC is one of the most popular bidding systems in the U.S., a strong knowledge of the system will enable you to play comfortably with virtually any other player.

Bridge Base.  An extremely popular free on-line playing site.  Highly recommended.  Excellent educational resources, partnership tools, and tournament play, as well as "regular" games at various forms of scoring.

MSN Zone.  A free on-line playing site for PC users.

E-Bridge.  This commercial site offers a variety of membership options.  Student discounts may be available.

OKBridge. Another on-line playing site.  Student membership may still be available for $50/year.

Eddie Kantar's Home Page.  Eddie Kantar is a prolific author and one of today's top bridge players (arguably the one with the best sense of humor).  His page includes lessons, bidding quizzes, double dummy problems, and (of course) bridge humor, triumphs, and disasters.  Oh, and information about his upcoming bridge cruises... for those of us who have $5,000 to drop on a ten-day bridge binge.

The Bridge World.  The Bridge World is the world’s preeminent bridge magazine and home to the famous Master Solver’s Club.  The site also includes a thorough write-up of the “Bridge World Standard” bidding system.

Bridge Today.  Home of the Bridge Today University (bridge classes via e-mail) and the Bridge Today magazine.

Bridge Clues.  "The purpose of the Bridge Clues web site is to provide bridge puzzle type entertainment while giving clues for improving your bridge game. Two free hands on bidding and play, created by world renowned bridge champion, Mike Lawrence, are provided daily."

Rec.Games.Bridge.  Active newsgroup dedicated to the discussion of all aspects of bridge.

PlayBridge Hand Generator.  A great tool for practicing bidding.  Several hand constraint and output format options.

Sufflix.  Random hand generator suitable for club game and tournament use.  No constraints.  By Alesia Software.

Bidding Quest.  Practice your bidding with a regular partner or enter the anonymous bidding contest.

Bridgetalk.  A website dedicated to the discussion of bridge.  Includes a polling booth and several forums.

Double Dummy Corner.  A repository of double dummy problems started in January 2001.

Card Combination Calculator.  Input the outstanding cards in a suit and the calculator will generate a table of the possible distributions, along with the percentage of each holding.

Bridge Pro Tour.  An effort to re-popularize bridge by holding money tournaments.
