The
Dartmouth Bridge Club is a student-run organization dedicated to
promoting the game of bridge on our campus.
Our goal is to provide the members of our community opportunities
to play bridge in both casual and competitive settings and resources
for learning.
UPDATES
-
Bridge
Notes. Notes from Susan Doty's weekly online lectures
are now available here.
Topics include key conventions such as Transfer bids, Jacoby
2NT, and Splinter raises, as well as other important areas of
bidding.
CLUB
ACTIVITIES AND RESOURCES
-
Club
Games. Players of all skill levels are welcome to
attend our weekly on-campus games. Each game is hosted by
an advanced player who is there to answer questions and make
suggestions. These games are a fun, low-key setting in
which to relax, play a few hands and talk about bridge.
-
Bridge
Classes. Bridge classes are a great opportunity to
clarify and expand your understanding of bridge. All of
our sessions are taught by an ACBL accredited bridge
instructor.
-
Club
Library. We own a growing collection of bridge books that are
available for members to borrow.
-
Mentoring.
To the extent their schedules allow, senior members will meet
one-on-one with players seeking individual help.
