information. This list is meant to be representative, not exhaustive.
The quality and reliability of health information
on the Web vary widely. When evaluating Web-based health information, consider
the site's source and funding, how often it is updated, the author's
credentials and affiliations, and whether that information is clearly stated.

Finding Bioethics Articles in the Journal
Literature
Take advantage of the ability to limit your
Medline search to articles in the Bioethics subject subset.
PubMed
Enter your search into the search box. Then click on the Limits tab under the search box and select
Bioethics from the Subsets dropdown menu. Click on Go to run your search.
Ovid Medline
Enter your keyword or phrase into the search box, then click on Bioethics under the search box (in the Limit to: section). Click on Perform Search.
National Reference Center of Bioethics Literature
Search for bioethics literature (journal articles, books, chapters, laws, etc) using this resource from the Kennedy Institute of Ethics.

This site has links to the AMA Code of Medical Ethics, the Virtual Mentor (Ethics Journal of the AMA), an Ethics Resource Center (Educational Resources, Outreach Programs and Products, and End-of-Life Care) and more.
The
Belmont Report: Ethical Principles and Guidelines for the Protection of
Human Subjects of Research This 1979 seminal report was published by the
National Commission for the Protection of Human Subjects of Biomedical and
Behavioral Research.

This is the web site for the American Journal of Bioethics. Along with articles (Dartmouth has an online subscription), see features (Bioethics for Beginners, Bioethics and Cloning, etc.) and Weekly News Updates.
Ethics in
Medicine
Developed and produced by the University of Washington
School of Medicine, Ethics in Medicine has information on a number of
relevant topics (including a summary of the topic, commonly asked questions and
case reports), bioethics tools and a resource list.
Human Participant Protections
Education for Research Teams NIH requires “all investigators and key
personnel submitting NIG applications for grants or proposals for contracts, or
receiving new or non-competing awards” to receive education on the protection of
human subjects. This course fulfills the requirement.
