Pink Eye
An outbreak of conjunctivitis ("pink eye") continues on the Dartmouth College campus. In order to help decrease the number of new cases, the Dartmouth College Health Service, New Hampshire Public Health Department, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend that you do the following:
o Wash your hands frequently.
o Avoid sharing utensils, glasses, towels, etc.

PLEASE take the following CDC pink eye survey, if you haven't already --the CDC needs more people to respond for the data to be accurate.
Please go to http://www.dartmouth.edu/~evalres/pinkeye/ and fill out the survey. It takes less than two minutes and is important to do even if you don't have symptoms.
ALSO, the CDC is holding a clinic this upcoming week:
Please consider taking a few minutes to participate.
Go to http://fmweb.dartmouth.edu/flushot/ to sign up for a time.

Vandalism Bulletin

Late at night on Friday, Feb. 22, someone vandalized the senior art majors' work, the area exhibition, and the art studios in Clement. Yellow paint was sprayed on all the work and equipment, and peoples' pieces were broken, shattered, ripped, and demolished. Additionally some work was stolen. Many students have lost terms worth of work and invaluable pieces of art. If you have any information please contact Safety and Security at 6-2234. They are working directly with the Hanover police to locate the vandal. Tips can be given anonymously.

You may have recently read an article from the Dartmouth Review about proposed changes to the College's alcohol policy (you can read it at the Dartmouth Review's website). If you have read this article, you are likely understandably upset about what is happening and want to know the truth.

Fortunately, almost all of what is written in this article is FALSE - a point by point breakdown of the article and its inaccuracies can be found here written by Michael Newton, Student Body Vice President and member of CCAOD (College Committee on Alcohol and Other Drugs). If you go to the Dartmouth Review website you will see that it is already being updated due to its previous mistakes.

It IS true that the College is examining its alcohol policy; Student Assembly will be working to gather your input on the policy and to ensure that students aren't left out of the picture.

Please blitz us if you have any questions, complaints, concerns or ideas. It is important to us that students' opinions are heard and that students have complete information about what is really going on.

Thank you,

Molly Stutzman

WHERE IS Collis 101???

101 collis is in the southwest corner of Collis on the first floor (same floor as the info desk).
If that still doesn't help... Walk through the collis cafe area towards Common Ground... Then, before hitting Common Ground, turn left, walk two paces, turn right and walk forward about 10 paces to where the pirate hid his booty. (also known as 101 collis).
