Testing for levamisole resistance (e.g. unc-29)

1) Make 25 mM levamisole (M.W. 240) in H2O (dissolves well, also at 50 mM).

2) Spread 200 ml on small plate with E. coli, the E. coli do not smear, if the plate is dry.

unc-29 worms keep crawling, other worms will stiffen up, shrink a little, and not move anymore, effect takes place very quickly ( ~ 1 minute).
